Regular meeting December 23rd, 1944
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Que�nsbury,
held on the abcve date at the 7 :30 ' P. M. at the Clerk' s office ,
the following members were present.
D. Elmer Fowler Supervisor
Henry Sleight Justice of the Peace
Meredith Bentley Justice of the Peace
Curtis Lampson Councilman
Raymond Walkup, Councilman
Minutes of Metting held on the 23rd day of November was read
and approved.
Howard Wallace Superintendent and Collector of the North Glens
Falls Water District submitted his report which was read to the
Board and Placed on file.
The clerk read a communication from B. K. Clifford, Deputy
director of Civilian Defense tendering his resignation as
such deputy director.
Monthly statement of moneys received and disbursed by -the
.supervisor Narz for the month of November was read to the
Board.
Resolution No. 34, Introduced by Councilman Walkup , seconded
by Councilman-Lampson.
It was resolved that the supervisor be and is hereby authorized
and directed to transefer from the contingent fund tothe Vital
st4atistics fund of the Highway fund the sum of $11.00.
, Duly adopted Ly the following vote :
Ayes : Mr 'Valkup, fir. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr.
Fowler.

Resolution No. 35 Introduced by Justice Bentley, seconded by
Councilman Lampson,
Nhereas B.K. Clifford has tendered his resignation in writing
as deputy director of Civilian defense for the Town of Queensbury
Therefore be it resolved that the Town Board hereby accepts said
resignation effective December 23rd, 1944 ,
Be it further resolved that this board expresses its appreciation
for the excellent services as deputy director of civilian defense
for the Town of Queensbury, performed by the said B.K. Clifford.
Duly adopted by the following vote :
Ayes : Mr Walkup, Mr. Bentley, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Sleight and Mr.
Fowler,
Noes. None.
Resolution No 369 Introduced by. Justice Bentley, seconded by
Justice Sleight.
It was resolved that the Town Board hereby fixes- the amounts of th
the undertakings , or official Bonds for officers and funds for the
year of 1945 as follows :
Supervisor- General Town Fund $100000
Supervisor- Highway fund $10,000
Tax collector $10,000.

Town Clerk 1,000
Consyables 1,000
Dog Warden 1,000

It is further resolved that said undertakings or bonds
shall be executed by a surety Company authorized to transact
business in the State of New Yofak

The Board proceeded to examine the records and at 12:00 O 'Clock
adjourned to 1 :30 P.M.
The board reconvendd at 1 :30 P.M. full Board present.
A pplicatons were received from Joseph Ricketts and Burney Lanfear for Dog
Applications wares received from William Powers and John Lennox
for Dog Warden.
