1945-09-08 261- sale of th•e 28 ft ce conveyor be accepted and that the Town superintendent of -Highways -be and hereby is authorized to sell said belt conveyor to the said Ralph Elmore. It is further resolved that the bids of Harold Harris and V. W. Weeks be and the same are herejay rejected for the reason they are insufficient. It is further resolved that the clerk be and is hereby authorized to return all doneydtdeposited with bids except Elmore bid. Duly adopted by the following vote. None Justice Sleight dffered+.:the following resolution No 28 which was seconded by Councilman Lampson, WHereas, the Whitehall Autobus. , Inc. has filed with this Town Board a petition for consent, under and pursuant to Section 66 of the Transportation Corporations Law of the State of New York, to establish and operate omnibus or motor vehicle rputes upon along certain• streets, avenues and public places in the Town of Queensbury, Now therefore, be it resolved that a hearing be held on said application on the 8th day of September, 1945 at 7:30 o ' clock in the Town Clerk's office and that said notice of such hearing be published in the Glens Falls Times and the Glens Falls Post Star. Seward Thomson called on the board in reference to laying out a street. The board generally discussed the matter with him.
