RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF LAUREN CARR TO WORK
FOR DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has requested Town Board
authorization to hire Lauren Carr to work part-time for the Department as a Water Safety Instructor
Aide, and
WHEREAS, Town Policy requires that familial relationships must be disclosed and that
the Town Board must approve the appointment of Town employees’ relatives and Lauren Carr is
the daughter of Elise Carr, a Town employee,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Lauren Carr to work for the Town’s Department of Parks and Recreation as a part-time Water Safety

Instructor Aide effective March 1, 2006 at the rate of pay of $6.85 per hour, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Director of Parks and
Recreation, Town Supervisor and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
