NOTICE OF ADOPTION
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury held on March 6th
at 7:00 P.M. at the Queensbury Center, Town of Queensbury, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury,
New York, the following resolution was adopted and is subject to Permissive
Referendum.
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WASTEWATER DIRECTOR TO RECEIVE PROPOSALS FOR PREPARATION OF
MAP, PLAN AND REPORT FOR PROPOSED HILAND PARK SEWER DISTRICT EXTENSION TO SERVE
QUEENSBURY TOWN OFFICES PROPERTY AND APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR SUCH PURPOSE

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to engage the services of a
professional engineering firm to prepare a Map, Plan and Report for the
consideration of an extension to the Hiland Park Sewer District to serve the
Queensbury Town Offices property located in the vicinity of Haviland and Bay Roads,
Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board estimates that the costs of obtaining such Map, Plan
and Report shall not exceed the amount of $ 15,000.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
Policy for the preparation of a Map, Plan and Report for the consideration of an
extension to the Hiland Park Sewer District to serve the Queensbury Town Offices
property located in the vicinity of Haviland and Bay Roads, Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby appropriates the specified amount of $
15,000.00 to pay the costs of such Map, Plan and Report, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that this Resolution is subject to a permissive referendum in
accordance with the provisions of Town Law Article 7 and the Town Board hereby
authorizes and directs the Town Clerk to publish and post such notices and take such
other actions as may be required by law, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town
Supervisor, Wastewater Director and/or Budget Officer to take all such actions
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.

Extension to Serve Queensbury Town offices Property And Appropriating Monies For
Such Purpose adopted at a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Queensbury held on the 6th day of March, 2006, at which a quorum was present and
that the same is a correct transcript there from and of the whole original thereof
to date.
