Dear Mr. Hadden:
I am in receipt of your letter dated 8/20/96 concerning a
change in ownership for your property at 298 Bay Road in the Town
of Queensbury.
As I understand the statements in the above referenced letter
automobile repair in the form of "auto detailing" lawfully and
continuously occurred at the site from 1986 through to present day.
The proposal by the new owner to also conduct automobile
repair in the form of auto detailing. As such the proposal
represents continuation of a lawful, pre-existing, nonconforming
use. Therefore, further action regarding compliance with the Town
Zoning Code is not required.
