The system design drawing entitled "Wastewater Design", was prepared by Harlan-McGee of North America, last revised January 16, 2009 and approved by NYSDOH on January 20, 2009. A variance was granted by the Town of Queensbury Board of Health on February 23, 2009. The system installed consists of a 1,250 gallon dual compartment concrete septic tank, a 1,000 gallon concrete pump tank, a duplex effluent pump station with controls and alarm located inside the house, two Goulds 3885 WE03M effluent pumps on alternating operation, and a19'x24' absorption bed in mound configuration with pressure distribution. The pumps were tested and calibrated to dose the pressure distribution system at 2.5 feet water head. Dose volume was set to approximately 110 gallons. The area was graded, topsoiled, seeded and mulched. Turf is not yet fully established. It is my opinion that the system is installed in general conformance with the approved plans referenced above.
