The contractor has retained the engineer (Edward K.LaPoint,PE)to inspect and
provide a Construction Progress Report for the above referenced project.Specifically;
4.The contractor is renovation commercial retail space in accordance with approved
plans and specification prepared by Ethan Hall.The engineer is preparing thisConstructionProgressReportatthecompletionofthestructuralwork(i.e..both
demolition and structural framing are complete).
2.The second floor private office space is carried by a W8X24 steel and double 1 3/4 x
91/2",triple 1 3/4 x 14"LVL girders over 2x6 studs.The W8x4 steel girder us tac
welded to 3 1/2"adjustable steel posts.
4.All the girders are installed in accordance with the approved plans and
specifications.All the clear spans were confirmed.The supporting steel posts,
jambs and are straight,true and plumb.
The structural framing is 100%complete,inspected and approved by the engineer.
The electrical and plumbing have been roughed.Preparation for HVAC and sheetrock is underway.
The contractor should proceed as planned.
