Subject: Blinstrub Test Hole I witnessed the test hole at 331 Cleverdale Road. It is a replacement septic system, which will be installed behind the home (to the west of Cleverdale). The test hole was dug to a depth of 6 feet, with no mottling or evidence of groundwater. Loamy sand soil appeared firm at greater depths, but not impervious and likely will slow the percolation rate. I asked for a perc test at the depth of the firm soil material 2-3 feet depth below fill/debris to make sure for design. There was a lot of debris and possibly an old leach field in this location previously, which all found materials and debris should be removed when installing new system. Any questions please call.
