1937-04-27 PIT RESOLUTION No. 189 Introduced by Mr. Bentley, seconded by Mr. Nobles. WHE?MAS The Town Board of the Town of (jueensbury has determined to do certain relief work in said Town and have passed resolutions to furnish Tractors ands Trucks and Tractor and. Truck Drivers to carry out said work and WHEREAS There as insuff is ientfunds in Item I of the Highway Fund of said Town for the payment of the salaries and wages of said drivers. a.nd the cost of operations of said Truck and Tractor �j RESOLVED That pursuant to the Provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 798 of the Laws of 1931 as amended, there be and hereby is appropriated for the purpose of paying said salaries and wages of said Truck and Tractor Drivers and the cost of operation of said Truck and Tractor so employed and w used for said relief work the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00 ) said amount to be placed in item I of the Highway fund and to be paid out and accounted for as other money in said Item I :f tree Highway Fund - it is further RESOLVED Tnat the Town of Queensbury issue certificate of indebtedness in tqe sum of Three Hundred Dollars (1300.00 ) and the Supervisor and Town Clerk and hereby authorized to execute said certificate of indebtedness for the purpose of raising said sum for the pa} ent of -alaries and wages of said truct and Tractor drivers so emplogd by .he Town of said relief woric and the cost of operation of said Tractor and TrucK- DULY adopted by the following vote- Ayes - Mr. Ellsworth, Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Bentley and Mr. Fowler. Stone Town Supt. of Highways. An Application for a permit to hold a Carnival was received from the Loyal Order of Noose by the Board. A Petition of the City of Glens Falls, requesting the consent of the Board to lay a dater Main which will,in part, traverse the Aviation Field Road, was presented to the Board. RESOLUTION No. 219 Introduced by Mr. Ellsworth, seconded by Mr. Nobles, IT WAS RESOLVES that Mr. Powler be and is hereby authorized to appoint two' merr:bers of the Board as a committee with Town Superintendant of Highways to confer with the Water Board of the City of Glens Falls in reverence to the repair of Dixon Road. Duly adopted by the following vote- Ayes - Mr. Ellsworth, Mr. Nobles, Mr. Larpson, Mr. Bentley and Mr. Fowler, Noes None. The Chairman appointed Mr. Nobles and Mr. Ellsworth on the Committee.
