RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GIS ADMINISTRATOR TO ATTEND
ESRI TRAINING - GIS CONFERENCE

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s GIS Administrator has requested Town Board
authorization to attend ESRI Training for the new GIS software at a conference in Danvers, MA

from June 9 – 11, 2008 at an estimated cost of $1,974.00, and
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously authorized allocation of funds for
conference expenses within the Information Technology Department’s 2008 Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the GIS Administrator

to attend ESRI Training for the new GIS software at a conference in Danvers, MA from June 9
th
– 11, 2008, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that expenses in the estimated amount of $1,974.00 incurred by the GIS
Administrator at the conference shall be deemed proper Town charges, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such conference expenses shall be paid for from Account No.: 001-
1680-4090, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that all necessary and reasonable expenses incurred at the conference are
proper Town charges.
