RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF BRIANNE MONETTE AS
TEMPORARY CLERK IN TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town Water Superintendent has requested Town Board authorization to hire

Brianne Monette as a Temporary Clerk to work for the Town’s Water Department from June 3

through August 31, 2008, and
WHEREAS, Town Policy requires that familial relationships must be disclosed and the
Town Board must approve the appointment of Town employees’ relatives, and Brianne Monette
is the daughter of Kevin Monette who works as a Shift Operator in the Town’s Water Treatment
Plant,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Brianne Monette to workas a Temporary Clerk to work for the Town’s Water Department from

June 3 through August 31, 2008 subject to the Town successfully completing background checks
as reasonably may be necessary to judge fitness for the duties for which hired, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that Ms. Monette shall be paid $11.97 per hour as set forth in Town Board
Resolution No.: 51,2008 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Water
Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
