RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ASPHALT ROLLER AT
TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, in accordance with Resolution No.: 387,2008, the Town of Queensbury’s
Purchasing Agent duly advertised for bids for the purchase of an Asphalt Roller at the Town’s
Water Department as more clearly specified in bid specifications prepared by the Town Water
Superintendent and/or Town Purchasing Agent, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent and Water Superintendent have reviewed the submitted
proposals and recommended that the Town Board award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder,
Anderson Equipment Company,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby awards the bid for the purchase of an
Asphalt Roller for the Town’s Water Department from Anderson Equipment Company for an amount
not to exceed $15,254.00 to be paid for from Misc. Equipment Account No.: 040-8340-2001, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes the Town Budget Officer to take any
and all actions necessary to transfer $15,254.00 from unappropriated, undesignated Fund Balance to
Account No.: 040-8340-2001 and effectuate such 2008 Budget Amendment, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Purchasing Agent, Water Superintendent and/or Budget Officer to take any and all actions necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
