RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF 2009 FORD RANGER XL
SUPER CAB 4 X 4 FOR USE BY TOWN OF QUEENSBURY

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Director of Building & Codes has advised the
Town Board that he wishes to purchase one (1) 2009 Ford Ranger XL Super Cab 4x4 for use by
the Town’s Community Development Department (Building & Codes), and
WHEREAS, New York State Bidding is not required as the purchase is under New York
State Contract No.: PC62882,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Director of
Building & Codes Enforcement’s purchase of one (1) 2009 Ford Ranger XL Super Cab 4x4 from
Fairport Ford, LLC in accordance with New York State Contract #PC62882 for an amount not to
exceed $16,946.85 to be paid from funds budgeted in the current year from Account No.: 001-
3620-2020, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Budget Officer
to take any and all actions necessary to amend the 2008 budget as follows:

Director of Building & Codes Enforcement and/or Budget Officer to take such other and further
action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
