Turner, Town Clerk RESOLUTION #28A Introduced by Mr. Nobles seconded by M,r .Lampson. WHEREAS Glenn A. Hubbell of the Town of Queensbury, County of �4 Warren and State of New York, heretofore and on. the 24th day of March 1936, filed with the Town Board of the ,;Town of Oueensbury, Warren County, New York, by filing the same in the office of Bert D. Turner, clerk of said Town, his petition in writing duly verified, wherein it Y° did pray for the consent of the localAuthorities Comprising the Town Board of the Town of queensburyt Warren County, New York, to op opetate a bus line for the Transportation of passengers and property f r hire upon and along certain streets and highways within the Town of r of queensbury and which petition is now on file in the office of the clerk of the saidTTown of queensbury, and WHEREAS at a meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Queensbury held at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Queensbury on the 24th day of Ma ch, 2936 a resolution was adopted pursuant to sections 66 and 67 of the Transportation Corporation Law to the effect that due notice of a public hearing to be held on said petition -be given by publishing in newspapers designated by said Town for that purpose, notice of a Public Hearing on the afore mentioned petition to be held at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of ,Queensbury, on the 6th day of April 1936, at 7sOO O'clock P. M. and, WHEREAS pursuant to this resolution a notice of Public Hearing was published in the Newspapers known as *The most Star and the Glens Falls Times on the 26th day of Ma eh 1936 by theTown Board of said Town, by Bert D. Turner, Clerk of said Town, m d, ' WHEREAS a Public Hearing was held on the aforementioned petition on t the 6th day of April 1936, after due notice had been given and after hearing Glenn A. Hu"ell. the petitioner and all other persons desiring to be heard thereon, and the same having been duly and regularly considered, IT IS NOT' THEREFORE RESOLVED- that the consent of- the Town of queensbury, by its -said Town Board comprising the Local Authorities of said Town, be and the same hereby is given and planted unto the said Glenn A. Hubbell to operate nis motor buses and stages upon and along the streets and highways of the Town of Iueensbury, along the following route within the Town limits of the Town of Queensbury; Commencing at the Westerly City Line of the City of Glens Falls and running thence Westerly along Glens Falls - Corinth Road to an through the hamlet known as West Glens Falls to the highway known as the Big Bay Road, and in addition thereto the privilege to operate said line as far as Parklap, respectively and in both directions on afore said route and roads; this consent to operate the omnibuses and stages of the petitioner over the route pursuant to the petition is given with the understanding; that such route may be operated now or hereafter in conbination or conjunction with other routes within and without this municipality aid is granted subject to the provisions of . all statutes and requirements of the State of New York or its departments which may be applicable therero. This consent to operate as aforesaid is given with the understanding that the said petitioner shall operate over that portion of said route commencingI - MX= at the City Line to the Big Bay Road at least twice each day one of such trips ;;shall be in the forenoon and the other in the afternoon with option to '-operate the additional route if business so warrents except Sunday -and that the following schedule of passenger fares be used- Glens Falls to Big Bay Road t io Glens Falls to Parklap $.20 That tIe route above described shall be divided into fare zones with boundaries °immediately above described; that the.mimmum fare between any two pots shall be Ten Cents: that the fare between points within a zone or inm ediately ad,jacents Zones shall be Ten Cents and except as above particularly specified) an additional of Ten Cents for eadh additional fare zone entered or traversed. This consent shall operate for a period of 18 years-- Duly adopted by the following vote- Ayes- Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampson, Mr. Bentley and Mr. Fowler. Noes- None, Absent Mr. Ellsworth. RESOLUTION #29 'Introduced by Cdr. Bentley, Seconded by Isar. Nobles WHEREAS, The Town Board of the Town of queensbury has determined to do certain relief work in said Town and have passed resolution to furnish tractor, truck, crusher and quart' and truck driver to carry out said work, and, Whereas, there is insufficient funds in Item 1 for the payment of said salaries and wages and rentals to carry out• said work. . RESOLVE, that pursuant to the provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 798 of the Lams of 1931, there be and hereby is a"ropiated for the purpose of paying said wages and salaries at4d aenexploy*d and rentals for said relief work the sum .of $600.00, said amount to be placed in Item 1 of the highway fund and to be paid out and accounted for as other moneys in said item l of the Highway fund, it is further, RESOLVED, that 'the Town of Queensbury issue certificate of indebtedness '!� i in the sum of $600.00, and the supervisor and the town Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said dertifieate of indebtedness for the purpose of raising said sum -for the payment of salaries I= JIDCU= of -said truck driver so employes by the Town and rental of said quarry on said relief work.
