RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN
OF QUEENSBURY AND LITERACY VOLUNTEERS OF GLENS FALLS,
INC. (LITERACY NENY – VOLUNTEERS SERVING WARREN,
WASHINGTON AND SARATOGA COUNTIES)

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board believes it is appropriate and beneficial to the Town
to provide remedial reading services to Town of Queensbury adult residents with reading difficulties
and therefore wishes to enter into an agreement with Literacy Volunteers of Glens Falls, Inc. (Literacy
NENY – Volunteers Serving Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties) for the provision of these
services, and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement for the year 2006 between the Town of Queensbury and
Literacy Volunteers has been presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Agreement between
the Town and Literacy Volunteers of Glens Falls, Inc. (Literacy NENY – Volunteers Serving Warren,
Washington and Saratoga Counties) and authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to execute the
Agreement with funding for the Agreement to be paid for from the appropriate Town account.
