1936-07-28 July 28th, 1936 Regular Meeting 139 � At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Jueensbury, held on the above date-:;, at 7 PM at the Town Clerk' s Office, the following members were present. D. Elmer Fowler Supervisor Floyd Ellsworth, Justice of Peace Charles Nobles " " of Meredith Bentley " " to Curtis Lampson Bert D. Turner Town Clerk Minutes of meetings held on June 23rd, and June 25th, 1936 read and approved. Committees and. Delegations how live along the following described road called on the board and requested that the said roads be fixed it or repaired on McDount of dust hazard and other c ame-rous conditions: the Oneida-Washington County Line Road, Sherman Ave. , Road -and The Aviation Field Road so called, Petitions were received and filed of the Taxpayers and redidence along the Sherman Ave. Road. A petition was presented by the taxpayers and residences along a proposed .highway extension leading into Glen Lake requesting the Board to aeeept the proposed highway and maintain the same. ) RESOLUTION # 50 Introduced by Mr. Ellsworth seconded by PZr. Bentley. WHEREAS the Town Board of-the Town of Jueensbury deem the following Highways unsafe for public travel: Oneida Corners to the a Washington County Line, the Aviation Field Road so called. RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Section 93 of the Highway Law there be and is appropiated and made available for said purpose the following amounts for each of the following described roads: Oneida Corners Washington County Line Road the sum of • $1000. ; the Aviation Field Road beginning at the end of the present stone Road and continuing West for a distance not to exceed one mile the sum of $1000, 9 it is further, RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions of Section 93 the Highway Law -and the Provisions of the Town Law, the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to borrow on the faith and credit of said Town said amount or so much there of as ray be necessary for said work. Duly adopted by the following vote: Ayes - Mr. Ellsworth, Mr. Nobles, Mr. Lampson, `r. Bentley and Mr. Fowler. No es - None. The following prices were submitted by the following named persons of Corpvt&ttene for a truck to be used for the repair of Highways in the" Town of Ctueensbury. Prices submitted included delivery to Glens Falls Mott Frasier Carp , one Stuart Model 58X Dump truck with $3850.00 Woods Body and Hoist 975X20 Tires 3-,� to 5 Tons capacity.
