RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF GARY POST AS FULL-TIME
LABORER FOR BUILDING AND GROUNDS DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Facilities Manager has advised the Town Board that a full-time laborer
position is vacant in the Department of Building and Grounds, and
WHEREAS, the Facilities Manager posted availability for the vacant position, reviewed
resumes, applications, interviewed interested candidates and has made a hiring recommendation to the
Town Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Facilities
Manager to hire Gary Post as a full-time Laborer working for the Department of Building and Grounds
subject to an eight (8) month probationary period and the passing of a pre-employment physical, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that Mr. Post shall be paid the hourly rate of pay listed for the Laborer position
in the current CSEA Contract, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor ,
Facilities Manager and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
