RESOLUTION AMENDING 2005 BUDGET TO INCREASE
APPROPRIATIONS AND AMEND FUND BALANCE

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury Highway Fund has incurred snow melting agent and
motor equipment operator costs greater than originally budgeted for, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Fund has sufficient surplus fund balances and has met New York
State Comptroller's requirements for the appropriation of fund balance during the fiscal year, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to increase appropriations and appropriated fund balance
in the Highway Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves, authorizes and directs that
the 2005 Budget be amended by increasing appropriations and increasing Appropriated Fund Balance
in the Highway Fund – Snow Melting Agents Account No.: 004-5142-4641 in the amount of $46,482
and Motor Equipment Operator Account No.: 004-5142-1450 in the amount of $4,577, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town's Budget Officer
to make any necessary adjustments, transfers, or prepare any necessary documentation to effectuate the
terms of this Resolution.
