The alteration to the framing at the entry canopy has been reviewed and the rafter sizes provided will be adequate to support the anticipated load due to the roof pitch and the span of the rafter framing, it was determined that rafters would be less expensive to install than the trusses that were called for on the design plans and that due to the span and pitch the rafter sizes provided would be adequate to support the roof over those spans. This modification as well as the other work performed by the contractor for the Phase I portion of this project has been done with our knowledge and is acceptable to this office.
