RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROMOTION OF KEVIN MULCHAEY
FROM LABORER TO WATER MAINTENANCE Man II AT TOWN
WATER DEPARTMENT

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Water Superintendent and Civil Engineer have
recommended that the Town Board authorize the promotion of Kevin Mulcahey from Laborer to
Water Maintenance Man II at the Town’s Water Department as Mr. Mulcahey has passed the
departmental test for the position, has the required job experience and will have met all requirements

for the position as of October 3, 2006, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize the requested promotion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the promotion
of Kevin Mulcahey from Laborer to Water Maintenance Man II at the Town Water Department
effective October 16, 2006 at the rate of pay specified in the Town’s CSEA Union Agreement for the
position for the year 2006, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Water
Superintendent, Civil Engineer and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
