RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR
MEADOWBROOK ROAD WATER MAIN
REPLACEMENT BIDS
RESOLUTION NO.: 498, 2006

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. John Strough
WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury sought and obtained bids for the Meadowbrook Road
area water main replacement project; and
WHEREAS, the bids were opened on Friday, September 8, 2006 and were higher than
expected as detailed in the Town’s Map, Plan and Report; and
WHEREAS, the Town Water Superintendent and the Town’s Engineer, C.T. Male
Associates, P.C., recommend rejecting all such bids and re-bidding the project in 2007; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby rejects all bids submitted for such
project; and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Water Superintendent is authorized to take all actions necessary
to effect the terms of this Resolution.
