032.2005 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING LIGHT MOTOR EQUIPMENT OPERATOR POSITION AT PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT RESOLUTION NO. 32, 2005 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. John Strough WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Town of Queensbury’s Recreation Commission, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to establish the full-time position of Light Motor Equipment Operator (LMEO) in the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department, and WHEREAS, the Warren County Department of Personnel and Civil Service has reviewed the proposed job duties for the position, and WHEREAS, the LMEO position was budgeted in the Parks and Recreation Department budget and adopted as part of the 2005 Town of Queensbury budget, and WHEREAS, the new position shall be an hourly position to be included in the Town’s Civil Service Employee Association (CSEA) Bargaining Unit, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby establishes the full-time hourly position of Light Motor Equipment Operator in the Town’s Parks and Recreation Department, such position to be included in the Town’s Civil Service Employees Association, Inc. (CSEA) Bargaining Unit, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further establishes the position at a salary to be determined at a later date consistent with the CSEA Agreement, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Director of Parks and Recreation to begin the process of filling this newly-created position and authorizes and directs the Parks and Recreation Director, Town Supervisor, Town Counsel and/or Budget Officer to complete and file any documentation needed to establish this position and take such other and further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 10 day of January, 2005, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Turner, Mr. Strough, Mr. Brewer, Mr. Stec, Mr. Boor NOES : None ABSENT: None
