WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury previously established the Town of Queensbury
Recreation Commission in accordance with applicable New York State law, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Recreation Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Commission considered and interviewed candidates and
recommends the appointment of Robert Hummel, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to appoint Robert Hummel to the Recreation
Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby appoints Robert Hummel to the Town

Dear Recreation Commission,
Please accept this statement of interest to serve on the Queensbury Recreation Commission. I
have been a resident of Queensbury since 1987. I have supervised many Parks and Recreation
programs during my time as a teacher for the Queensbury School District.
My family and I have participated in many Recreation programs. Throughout all of these
experiences, we have viewed the Department of Parks and Recreation as a positive institution in
our community. I want to play a greater role in insure that the Department continues to thrive
in Queensbury.
