RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF TEMPORARY LABORER IN
TOWN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has requested Town Board authorization to
hire another temporary Laborer to work for the summer for the Town’s Highway Department as one
of the Department’s temporary Laborers is unable to work,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of
Chad Flint as a temporary Laborer to work approximately 18 weeks for the Town Highway

Department commencing on or about August 2, 2005, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such temporary employee shall be paid $12 per hour as set forth in Town
Board Resolution No.: 610,2004 to be paid from the appropriate payroll account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent,
Deputy Highway Superintendent, Budget Officer and/or Town Supervisor to complete any forms and
take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
