RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF TEMPORARY LABORER IN
DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND GROUNDS

WHEREAS, the Town Facilities Manager has requested Town Board authorization to hire a
temporary Laborer to work in the Building and Grounds Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the hiring of a
temporary Laborer to work in the Building and Grounds Department until such time as the
Department’s current grievance issue is resolved by arbitration, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such temporary Laborer shall be paid $13.85 hourly in accordance with the
effective Agreement between the Town of Queensbury and its unit of CSEA, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Facilities Manager and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and take any action necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
