RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF HUDSON
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC. FOR WATER TESTING AND
SAMPLING AT TOWN LANDFILL FOR 2006 - 2008

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury needs to arrange for water testing of wells situated at
the Town Landfill on Ridge Road during 2006 through 2008, and
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Facilities Operator solicited for proposals for the testing of these
wells, and
WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Facilities Operator has recommended that the Town Board
award the bid for the well and water testing to the lowest bidder, Hudson Environmental Services, Inc.,
for an amount not to exceed: $2,015 for 2006; $3,725 for 2007; and $2,015 for 2008,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby engages the services of Hudson
Environmental Services, Inc., for the purpose of water sampling and testing as may be required at the
Landfill for an amount not to exceed: $2,015 for 2006; $3,725 for 2007; and $2,015 for 2008 to be
paid for from the appropriate Account(s) as determined by the Town Budget Officer, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Solid Waste Facilities
Operator to make the necessary water testing arrangements and take any other actions necessary to
effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
