RESOLUTION ADDING SIX FLAGS DRIVE TO LIST OF TOWN PRIVATE
DRIVEWAYS AND ROAD NAMES

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 434.95, the Queensbury Town Board adopted a list of names
for private driveways and roads in the Town in connection with the 911 addressing system, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to add “Six Flags Drive,” a private drive entrance located
off State Route 9 assigned to the new Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Water Park, to the
Town’s list of private driveways and road names,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby adds “Six Flags Drive” to the Town of
Queensbury’s list of private driveways and roads, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Highway
Department to arrange for installation of the necessary poles and street signs identifying “Six Flags
Drive,” and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that any expenses associated with this Resolution shall be paid for from the
appropriate account.
