514.2005 RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING PROPOSED STATE POLICE BARRACKS ADDITION PROJECT RESOLUTION NO.: 514, 2005 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. John Strough WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Facilities Manager has advised the Town Board that the New York State Police have requested an addition to their State Police Barracks on Aviation Road, and WHEREAS, such proposed Project shall not exceed the amount of $80,000 and is requested to be a part of the Capital Improvement Plan and financed through the Capital Reserve Fund, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Town’s recently revised Capital Improvement Plan Policy (CIP), the Town Board must conduct a public hearing before approving any specific Capital Project listed on the CIP, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board shall meet and hold a public hearing at the th Queensbury Activities Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2005 to hear all interested persons and take any necessary action provided by law concerning establishment of any required capital reserve account and the funding of the proposed State Police Barracks Addition Capital Project, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Queensbury Town Clerk to publish and post a Notice of Public Hearing concerning the proposed Capital Project in the manner provided by law. th Duly adopted this 7 day of November, 2005, by the following vote: AYES: Mr. Stec, Mr. Boor, Mr. Turner, Mr. Strough, Mr. Brewer NOES: None ABSENT:None
