I have reviewed your application materials and find that a building permit cannot be issued for your request and that an Area Variance will be necessary for your project as proposed. Specifically,your proposed garage addition does not appear to meet the minimum front,side and total side setback requirements of the SFR-20 zoning district. As such, an Area Variance will be necessary. It is my understanding that Patrick Burke is assisting you in the preparation of an Area Variance application.
