RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF BRIAN WILSON AS
MECHANIC AT TOWN WATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Water Superintendent wishes to replace a Mechanic
who recently resigned from the Town Water Department, and
WHEREAS, the Water Superintendent posted availability for the position, reviewed resumes,
interviewed interested candidates and wishes to make an appointment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby appoints Brian Wilson to the full-time
position of Mechanic in the Town’s Water Department, and
BE IT FURTHER,

RESOLVED, that such appointment shall be effective January 13, 2004 and shall be subject
to successful completion of an six month probation period, a pre-employment physical as required by
Town Policy and any applicable Civil Service requirements, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that Mr. Wilson shall be paid the hourly rate for the position as delineated in the
Town’s current Agreement with the Civil Service Employees Association, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor, Water
Superintendent and/or Town Budget Officer to complete any documentation and take such other and
further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
