RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF TWO (2) FORD F250 XL ¾
TON PICK-UP TRUCKS FOR USE BY TOWN HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously adopted purchasing procedures which
require that the Town Board must approve any purchase in an amount of $5,000 or greater up to New
York State bidding limits, and
WHEREAS, the Town Highway Superintendent has advised the Town Board that he wishes
to purchase two (2) Ford F250 XL ¾ Ton Pick-Up Trucks for use by the Town Highway Department,
and
WHEREAS, New York State Bidding is not required as these purchases are under New York
State Contract No.: PC58722,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Highway
Superintendent’s purchase of two (2) Ford F250 XL ¾ Ton Pick-Up Trucks from Genesee Truck
Sales in accordance with New York State Contract #PC58722 for an amount not to exceed $21,453
per truck or a total amount not to exceed $42,906, to be paid for from funds budgeted in the current
year from Heavy Equipment Account No.: 004-5130-2020, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent,
Town Budget Officer and/or Town Supervisor to take such other and further action as may be
necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
