RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HIRING OF MATTHEW BEAROR AS
FULL-TIME LABORER FOR WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Deputy Wastewater Director has advised the Town
Board that there is a vacant full-time Laborer position in the Wastewater Department, and
WHEREAS, the Deputy Wastewater Director posted availability for the position, reviewed
resumes, interviewed interested candidates and has recommended that the Town Board authorize the
transfer of Matthew Bearor, currently employed in the Water Department, to the position of Laborer in
the Town’s Wastewater Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Deputy
Wastewater Director to hire Matthew Bearor, currently an employee in the Town’s Water Department,

as a full-time Laborer in the Town’s Wastewater Department effective June 22, 2004 subject to an
eight (8) month probationary period, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs that Mr. Bearor be paid the
hourly rate of pay listed for the Laborer position in the current CSEA Contract, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor,
Deputy Wastewater Director, Wastewater Director and/or Budget Officer to complete any forms and
take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
