RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF VAN DUSEN &
STEVES LAND SURVEYORS TO PROVIDE SURVEYING SERVICES FOR
PROPERTY AND TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY OF RICHARDSON STREET

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Executive Director of Community Development has
advised the Town Board that it is necessary to obtain a property and topographic survey of Richardson
Street to establish the limits of the Town’s right-of-way as a component of the Town’s Main Street
Gateway Improvement Project, and
WHEREAS, VanDusen & Steves, Land Surveyors has offered to provide these services for a
total not to exceed $9,800,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes engagement of VanDusen
& Steves Land Surveyors to prepare a property and topographic survey of Richardson Street to
establish the limits of the Town’s right-of-way as a component of the Town’s Main Street Gateway
Improvement Project for an amount not to exceed $9,800, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that such services shall be paid for from the TEA-21 Grant Award funds the
Town received for the Main Street Gateway Improvements Project with the $9,800 to be funded by
the Town as a local match to the Grant, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or
Town Budget Officer to sign any documentation and take any and all action necessary to effectuate all
terms of this Resolution.
