RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR FUNDS FROM
NEW YORK STATE OFFICE OF CHILDREN & FAMILY SERVICES

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Budget Officer has advised the Town Board that the
Town is eligible to apply for reimbursement funds from the New York State Office of Children &
Family Services (NYS OCFS) relating to the support of the Warren County Youth Court, and
WHEREAS, the Budget Officer has requested Town Board authorization to prepare a fund
application in the amount of $5,000, one-third (1/3) of the total amount of support proposed for the
Warren County Youth Court in 2005,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town’s
Budget Officer to prepare the application for Youth Development/Delinquency Prevention Youth
Services Funds from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and further authorizes
and directs the Town Supervisor and/or Budget Officer to execute the funding application and take any
other action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution.
