069.2003 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF ROUTES 9 AND 254 TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL PROJECT AND ROUTES 9 AND 254 TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENTS CAPITAL PROJECT FUND #137 RESOLUTION NO.: 69, 2003 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board adopted the Town of Queensbury’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), which CIP included the Town’s proposed prioritized short and long- term Capital Projects, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the CIP, the Town Board must conduct a public hearing before approving any specific Capital Project listed on the CIP, and th WHEREAS, the Town Board scheduled and duly held a public hearing on January 27, 2003 concerning establishment of the Routes 9 and 254 Traffic Improvements Capital Project, currently listed on the Town’s approved CIP, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the establishment of the Routes 9 and 254 Traffic Improvements Capital Project, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the establishment of a Capital Project Fund to be known as the Routes 9 and 254 Traffic Improvements Capital Project Fund #137 which Fund will establish funding for expenses associated with this Project, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs that funding for such Capital Project shall be by an interfund loan from the Town of Queensbury Capital Reserve Fund #64 in the amount of $100,000 to transfer to Routes 9 and 254 Traffic Improvements Capital Project Fund #137, until Federal and Non-Federal Funds are received in the amount of $100,000, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED that the Queensbury Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Comptroller’s Office to take all action necessary to establish the following accounts for such appropriations and revenues as necessary: Revenue Acct No. – 137-0137-4789 (Other Economic Assistance & Opportunity) $100,000, Expense Accts – 137-8020-4403 (Engineer/Surveyor) $90,000; 137-8020-4400 (Miscellaneous Contractual) $10,000, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Comptroller’s Office to amend the 2003 Town Budget, make any adjustments, budget amendments, transfers or prepare any documentation necessary to establish such appropriations and estimated revenues and effectuate all terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 27 day of January, 2003, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower, Mr. Boor, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec NOES : None ABSENT : None
