119.2003 RESOLUTION ADOPTING SEQRA DETERMINATION OF NON- SIGNIFICANCE REGARDING WATER DISTRICT IMPROVEMENTS ALONG MAIN STREET IN THE QUEENSBURY CONSOLIDATED WATER DISTRICT RESOLUTION NO.: 119, 2003 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Roger Boor WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to make certain improvements to the Queensbury Consolidated Water District being the replacement of a water main along Main Street in the Town of Queensbury, and WHEREAS, the Town Board has been duly designated to act as lead agency for State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) review of the project for compliance with SEQRA which requires environmental review of certain actions undertaken by local governments, and WHEREAS, the proposed action is an unlisted action in accordance with the rules and regulations of SEQRA, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board, after considering the proposed action, reviewing the Environmental Assessment Form and thoroughly analyzing the action for potential environmental concerns, determines that the action will not have a significant effect on the environment, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to complete the Environmental Assessment Form by checking the box indicating that the proposed action will not result in any significant adverse impacts, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves a SEQRA Negative Declaration and authorizes and directs the Town Clerk's Office to file any necessary documents in accordance with the provisions of the general regulations of the Department of Environmental Conservation. th Duly adopted this 10 day of February, 2003, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower, Mr. Boor, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec NOES : None ABSENT: None
