TOWN OF QUEENSBURY JOINT MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board wishes to authorize funding for the City of Glens

Falls – Town of Queensbury joint Memorial Day Parade to be held on Monday, May 26, 2003,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes funding in an amount not
to exceed $3,000 for the City of Glens Falls – Town of Queensbury joint Memorial Day Parade to
be paid for from the Celebrations Account No.: 001-7550-4433, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that funds shall be payable to the City of Glens Falls as reimbursement for
Parade-related expenses upon the Town’s receipt and approval of a voucher from the City together
with copies of vendor invoices, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor
and/or Town Comptroller’s Office to take any action necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.
