RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN TOWN OF
QUEENSBURY AND FAMILY YMCA OF THE GLENS FALLS AREA

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury wishes to enter into an agreement with the Family
YMCA of the Glens Falls Area to support the YMCA’s provision of its Summer Day Camp
experience, Camp Chepontuc, to underprivileged children living in the Queensbury area, and
WHEREAS, a proposed Agreement has been presented at this meeting,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Agreement between
the Town and the Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area to support the YMCA’s provision of its
Summer Day Camp experience, Camp Chepontuc, to underprivileged children, with funding for the
Agreement not exceeding the sum of $6,000 and authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to
execute the Agreement, with funding to be paid for from Community Services Account No.: 001-
8989-4414.
