RESOLUTION EXTENDING TERM OF LAURA VAMVALIS ON
TOWN OF QUEENSBURY CEMETERY COMMISSION

WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury previously established the Town of Queensbury
Cemetery Commission in accordance with applicable New York State law, and
WHEREAS, the Cemetery Commission previously recommended and the Town Board
appointed Laura Vamvalis to serve as a member on the Commission until her term expires on August

21, 2003, and
WHEREAS, the Cemetery Commission has recommended that Ms. Vamvalis’ term be
st
extended until December 31, 2003 so that the terms of the Commissioners consistently expire on
st
December 31 of any given year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby extends the appointment of Laura
Vamvalis as a member of the Town of Queensbury Cemetery Commission until such term expires on
st
December 31, 2003.
