RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF $125 GIFT FROM
NORTHWAY CHRISTIAN FAMILY CHURCH

WHEREAS, the Northway Christian Family Church has donated $125 to the Town of
Queensbury in an effort to help the community,
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to authorize acceptance of this generous gift,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board, in accordance with New York State Town
Law §64(8), hereby approves and accepts the $125 gift from the Northway Christian Family Church,
and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Comptroller to
place the $125 in a restricted account for use in paying for defibrillators to be located within Town Hall
in the future, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor to send a copy
of this Resolution to the Northway Christian Family Church with the Town Board’s thanks for the
Church’s generosity and take such other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms
of this Resolution.
