RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
CONSTRUCTION AND REPLACEMENT OF SIDEWALKS
ON THE BOULEVARD

WHEREAS, Town of Queensbury funds have been appropriated in Account No.: 001-5410-
2899 for the purpose of the construction and replacement of sidewalks, and
WHEREAS, the Town’s Highway Superintendent wishes to prepare a Request for Proposals
(RFP) to distribute to qualified contractors for construction and replacement of sidewalks on the north
side of the Boulevard beginning at the east side of New Pine Street and ending at Quarry Crossing in
the Town of Queensbury, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to solicit proposals for these services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Town’s Highway
Superintendent and/or Acting Purchasing Agent to prepare and distribute a Request for Proposals for
construction and replacement of sidewalks on the north side of the Boulevard beginning at the east side
of New Pine Street and ending at Quarry Crossing in the Town of Queensbury, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Highway Superintendent
and/or Acting Purchasing Agent to take any further action necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.
