RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR SALE OF USED DUMP TRUCK
RESOLUTION NO.: 123, 2002

WHEREAS, the Town Purchasing Agent duly advertised for the sale of a 1990 Chevrolet one-
ton dump truck formerly used by the Town’s Building and Grounds Department, and
WHEREAS, David Smith submitted the highest bid for the purchase of the truck, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent has recommended that the Town Board accept the bid of
David Smith,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby accepts the bid for the sale of a 1990
Chevrolet one-ton dump truck formerly used by the Town’s Building and Grounds Department to
David Smith for the amount of $4,200, with funds received for the sale of the truck to be deposited
into the proper Town Account, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Purchasing Agent, Facilities
Manager and/or Town Comptroller to take any and all action necessary to effectuate the terms of this
Resolution.
