1968-04-17 3'l. ',,--- MINUTES of a public hearing of the Town of Queensbury Zoning Board of Appeals held at the Town Office Building on April 17, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. There were present: John E. Fitzgerald James Keller Charles o. Sicard George Kurosaka Allison B. Ellsworth being all of the members of the Board. John E. Fitzgerald, the Chairman, presided and the Secretary, James Keller, recorded. The minutes of the public hearing held April 4, 1968 were read by the Secretary and upon motion duly made by Charles o. "--- Sicard, seconded by George Kurosaka, and carried unanimously, were app roved. The notice of publication was read by the Chairman on Application for a Variance #39 by Joseph Dougher for the construction of a dwelling on an undersized lot at Lake Sunnyside. Mr. Dougher was not present and there was no one present objecting. Mr. Briar Huntley was present and answered questions raised by the Board as to the location of the lot and the size of adjacent lots. Upon motion duly made by Charles o. Sicard, seconded by John E. Fitzgerald and carried unanimously, it was \-. RESOLVED, that in view of the practical difficulty of using the lot since it did not meet the minimum lot dimensions required by the Ordinance; and that in the opinion of the Board strict application of the provisions 36,-, ",--" of the Ordinance would deprive the applicant of the reasonable use of his land, be it ORDERED that Application for a Variance #39 by Joseph Dougher be approved as requested. After the conclusion of the public hearing Application for a Variance #40 by Grossman Distribution Center was presented to the meeting. Mr. Grossman was present. He stated the applica- tion was for the construction of a three sided storage building and he presented a letter from Mr. Marshall of the Delaware & Hudson. A letter from Grossmans supplementing the application was read by the Chairman. After discussion, upon motion duly made by James Keller, seconded by Charles o. Sicard, and carried unanimously, this matter was referred to the Planning Board for ~ their report and set for a public hearing on May 15, 1968.
