RESOLUTION NO. 319.2002

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION
SECONDED BY: Mr. Roger Boor
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board hereby wishes to consider adoption of a Local Law
which would adopt a 2002 Retirement Incentive Program offered to eligible Town of Queensbury
employees, and
WHEREAS, such legislation is authorized in accordance with Chapter 69 of the Laws of 2002
of New York State, and
WHEREAS, prior to adoption of the proposed Local Law, the Board must conduct a public
hearing,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the Queensbury Town Board shall meet and hold a
public hearing at the Queensbury Activities Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on August

19, 2002 to consider the proposed Local Law presented at this meeting, hear all interested persons
and take such action required or authorized by law, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the
Queensbury Town Clerk to publish and post the Notice of Public Hearing presented at this meeting in
the manner provided by law.
