321.2002 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENGAGEMENT OF HEBER ASSOCIATES FOR PROVISION OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE TO WORK IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT DURING CLERK’S MEDICAL LEAVE RESOLUTION NO.: 321, 2002 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHEREAS, the Executive Director of Community Development has advised the Town Board that the Clerk in the Community Development Department will be out on medical leave indefinitely, and WHEREAS, the Executive Director has requested Town Board authorization to contract with an employment agency for the provision of a temporary employee to cover for the Clerk while she is out on medical leave, and WHEREAS, the Executive Director has received and reviewed offers from three employment agencies and has made a recommendation to the Town Board, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Executive Director of Community Development to engage the employment agency services of Heber Associates for the provision of a temporary, part-time employee to work in the Community Development Department while the Clerk is out on medical leave, and BE IT FURTHER, th RESOLVED, that such employee shall work 40 hours per week beginning August 12, 2002, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the amount paid for services shall be $16.50 per hour with total payment not to exceed the total amount of $5,200 without further Town Board authorization to be paid for from the appropriate account, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor and/or Town Comptroller to sign any documentation and take any and all action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 5 day of August, 2002, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower, Mr. Boor, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec NOES : None ABSENT: None
