RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TOWN COMPTROLLER TO ATTEND
ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTANTS’ GOVERNMENT
LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury’s Comptroller has requested Town Board authorization
to attend the 2002 Association of Government Accountants’ Government Leadership Conference, and
WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously authorized allocation of funds for
conference expenses within the Town Comptroller Department’s budget, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Town Policy the Queensbury Town Board must authorize
out-of-state travel by Town employees,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby authorizes the Town Comptroller to
attend the 2002 Association of Government Accountants’ Government Leadership Conference in

Richmond, Virginia from September 23 through September 25, 2002, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that all necessary and reasonable expenses incurred at the conference are proper
Town charges and that all expenses shall be paid for from the appropriate Town Account.
