477.2002 RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT AND CONCURRENCE WITH WARREN COUNTY EMPIRE ZONE RESOLUTION NO.: 477, 2002 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Daniel Stec WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Tim Brewer WHEREAS, New York State has created the Economic Development Zone program to encourage industrial and commercial development in selected municipalities across the State, and WHEREAS, Warren County, as an eligible municipality, received designation of an Empire Zone made up of sub-zones including portions of the City of Glens Falls, Town of Queensbury, Town of Lake George, Town of Warrensburg, Town of Chester, Town of Johnsburg, Town of Bolton, Town of Horicon, Town of Lake Luzerne and the Town of Thurman, and WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury is committed to the development of new business within the proposed sub-zone, and WHEREAS, the Town of Queensbury wishes to support and concur with the Empire Zone revision application, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board, in its capacity as governing body of the Town of Queensbury, does hereby support and concur with the Warren County Empire Zone revision application to include: ?
