092.2001 RESOLUTION SETTING PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED INCREASE IN FEES ASSOCIATED WITH CERTAIN TOWN OF QUEENSBURY LAND USE APPLICATIONS RESOLUTION NO. 92, 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. James Martin WHO MOVED FOR ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHEREAS, in accordance with §179-102 of the Town Zoning Ordinance, the Town Board may establish fees associated with the land development application process, and WHEREAS, the Town’s Department of Community Development charges certain fees as authorized by the Town Zoning Ordinance, and thth WHEREAS, by Memoranda dated December 4, 2000 and January 29, 2001, the Executive Director of Community Development has advised the Town Board that upon review of the Town’s current fee structure and fee structures for 10 other communities, he recommends that the Town Board raise certain fees associated with the land development application process as specifically set forth in nd the Proposed Fee Schedule dated February 22, 2001 presented at this meeting, and WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to set a public hearing concerning the proposed rate increases, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT th RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board shall hold a public hearing on March 19, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Queensbury Activities Center, 742 Bay Road, Queensbury to hear all interested parties and citizens concerning proposed rate increases associated with the Town of Queensbury land development application process, such proposed fee increases to be effective April th 30, 2001, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby authorizes and directs the Queensbury Town Clerk to publish a Notice of Hearing in the official newspaper in the manner provided by law. th Duly adopted this 26 day of February, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Brewer, Mr. Brower, Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec NOES : None ABSENT:None
