121.2001 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHT AT INTERSECTION OF VAN DUSEN ROAD AND HERALD DRIVE RESOLUTION NO.: 121. 2001 INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Theodore Turner WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION SECONDED BY: Mr. James Martin WHEREAS, by Resolution No.: 459,2000, the Queensbury Town Board approved placement of a street light on Pole #11 at the intersection of VanDusen Road and Herald Drive in Queensbury, and WHEREAS, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation has notified the Town that its Operating Department has requested that Pole #11 not be used for street lighting purposes and instead has proposed installation of a pole on either the northwest or southwest corner of the intersection, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves installation of a 70 watt high pressure sodium lamp on a pole to be installed at either the northwest or southwest corner of the intersection of VanDusen Road and Herald Drive in Queensbury as delineated in Niagara Mohawk th Power Corporation’s January 12, 2001 letter presented at this meeting, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that annual charges for this lighting shall be paid for from the appropriate General Fund Account as the street light will not be located within a Street Lighting District, and BE IT FURTHER, RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Supervisor’s Office to make all necessary installation arrangements with Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and take any other action necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. th Duly adopted this 12 day of March, 2001, by the following vote: AYES : Mr. Martin, Mr. Turner, Mr. Stec, Mr. Brower, Mr. Brewer NOES : None ABSENT: None
