RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE ORDER FOR PURCHASE OF
FILE FOLDERS FOR USE BY TOWN ASSESSOR’S DEPARTMENT

WHO MOVED ITS ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Queensbury Town Board previously adopted purchasing procedures which
require that the Town Board must approve any purchase in an amount of $5,000 or greater up to New
York State bidding limits, and
WHEREAS, the Town Assessor solicited proposals for the purchase of 12,700 folders and has
recommended that the Town Board authorize the purchase of the folders from Creative Office Systems
for a total amount not to exceed $6,223, and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent has reviewed the information received by the Town
Assessor and concurs with her recommendation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Queensbury Town Board hereby approves of the Town Assessor’s
purchase of 12,700 file folders from Creative Office Systems for a total amount not to exceed $6,223
to be paid for from Account No.: 001-1355-4010, and
BE IT FURTHER,
RESOLVED, that the Town Board further authorizes and directs the Town Assessor and/or
Purchasing Agent to take such other and further action as may be necessary to effectuate the terms of
this Resolution.
